A Fitted Sheet and Bed Valance in One

• Mattress depth: measure vertically from the top of the mattress to its bottom edge.
• Frill drop: measure from the bottom edge of the mattress to the point at which you would like the valance to finish.

If you want the valance to reach the floor, measure down to the floor while the mattress is positioned on the bed. If you prefer a small clearance, subtract this from the finished drop. Do not include the mattress depth in the frill-drop measurement.
