Is a valance sheet a sheet with valance attached?

Simply put, yes! A valance sheet covers your mattress like a fitted sheet with valance frill that covers your bed base. The sheet part is made like a box with no elastic hem with the valance frill attached.

What are the advantages of a valance sheet?

Because you don't have to move the mattress Valance sheets are much easier to wash come laundry day. Instead of struggling to remove your bed sheet, then remove the mattress, then remove your valance, (phew!) your valance sheet can be removed while the mattress stays in place.

We make all Valance Sheets in house at our factory based in Lancashire UK. Valances are cut to order, this way it reduces fabric waste and it can be made specific to your mattress depth and frill drop.

A sheet with valance can be made for any size of bed from standard sizes to more bespoke sizes such as small double and emperor.
