What's the best size duvet for a 4ft bed?

We think a duvet sized at 72 x 86" (184 x 220cm) is the perfect fit.

Opting for a duvet that measures 72 inches in width will give a neater look to the bed. The duvet is 6 inches less than a typical double duvet. Since a 4ft bed is 6 inches shorter than a standard double bed, it is an ideal fit.

When a 72" duvet is used on a bed it will have a 12" (30cm) excess on each side. So, when the bed is made it should result in a super neat appearance. It also has enough length to cover 4ft beds up to 7ft long.

What size is a small double bed?

Small Double beds measure 48 inch, 4ft across (122cm) and come in various lengths.
