The stated pocket depth of a fitted sheet should usually be deeper than the mattress itself. This provides enough fabric to pass down the mattress sides and tuck underneath, allowing the elastic to grip securely.

Our 50cm deep fitted sheets are generally recommended for mattresses measuring up to approximately 43cm deep. This allows around 7cm of fabric to sit beneath the mattress.
