Designed for 180 x 200cm European Super King Mattresses

A 180 x 200cm mattress is commonly described as a European Super King, Euro Super King or IKEA Super King.

This is also approximately the same width and length as a standard UK Super King mattress, which normally measures 180 x 200cm. However, mattress construction and depth can vary considerably, particularly with European, IKEA, hybrid and pillow-top mattresses.

Our 180 x 200cm quilted mattress protector is made to the correct width and length, with the added advantage of being available in a choice of mattress depths.

This size is commonly found on:

• IKEA Super King beds
• European Super King beds
• Euro Super King mattresses
• Continental Super King beds
• Imported European mattresses
• 180 x 200cm mattresses from European furniture manufacturers

Choose the Correct Mattress Depth

Mattress depth is just as important as width and length when choosing a fitted mattress protector.

We offer a choice of depths so you can select a protector suitable for standard, deep and extra-deep 180 x 200cm mattresses.

Before ordering, measure vertically from the top surface of your mattress to the bottom edge.

If you use a mattress topper underneath the protector, include the topper when taking your measurement.

Choosing sufficient depth helps prevent the fitted sides from becoming overly tight and reduces the risk of the elasticated edge pulling away from the mattress corners.

Ideal for Deep, Hybrid and Pillow-Top Mattresses

Many modern 180 x 200cm mattresses are significantly deeper than traditional mattress designs, particularly hybrid, pillow-top and premium mattresses.

A standard-depth protector can be difficult to fit securely around these thicker mattresses.

By selecting the correct depth, you can achieve a more comfortable fit without overstretching the sides or elasticated edge.

The deeper options also make this protector suitable for many 180 x 200cm mattresses used with a separate mattress topper.

Comfortable Quilted Everyday Protection

The soft quilted polyester surface creates a comfortable protective layer between your mattress and fitted sheet.

It helps protect your mattress against:

• Dust
• Perspiration
• Everyday marks
• General mattress wear
• Occasional light spills

The protector is designed to sit discreetly beneath your fitted sheet and can be removed easily for washing whenever required.

Please note that this protector is splash resistant rather than fully waterproof.

If you need protection against larger spills, accidents, bedwetting or significant moisture, we recommend choosing our waterproof 180 x 200cm mattress protector instead.

Made in Our UK Factory

Our quilted mattress protectors are made in-house in Lancashire.

Making them ourselves allows us to manufacture specialist European sizes such as 180 x 200cm and offer a much wider choice of mattress depths than is normally available with standard protectors.

Your protector is cut and sewn to the selected size and depth before being delivered directly from our UK factory.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size mattress does this protector fit?

This protector is designed specifically for a mattress measuring 180cm wide x 200cm long.

This size is commonly known as a European Super King, Euro Super King or IKEA Super King mattress.

Is 180 x 200cm the same as a UK Super King?

A standard UK Super King mattress is normally approximately 180 x 200cm, so the width and length are usually the same.

However, mattress depth can vary considerably. We recommend measuring the complete width, length and depth of your mattress before ordering.

Is this mattress protector suitable for an IKEA 180 x 200cm bed?

Yes. If your IKEA mattress measures exactly 180 x 200cm, this protector is designed to fit it.

Always check the measurements shown on your mattress label before ordering.

Can I choose the mattress depth?

Yes. Select the appropriate depth from the options above.

Measure vertically from the top surface of your mattress to the bottom edge before ordering.

Will it fit a deep or pillow-top mattress?

Yes, provided you select sufficient depth for your mattress.

The choice of depths makes this protector suitable for many deep, hybrid and pillow-top 180 x 200cm mattresses.

Will it fit over a mattress topper?

Yes, provided you choose enough depth to accommodate both your mattress and topper.

Measure from the top of the topper to the bottom edge of the mattress and select the appropriate depth.

Is this mattress protector waterproof?

No. This quilted protector is splash resistant and intended for general everyday mattress protection.

If you require full protection against liquids, accidents or larger spills, choose a waterproof mattress protector instead.

Is the protector noisy?

No. The soft quilted polyester construction is designed to provide comfortable everyday protection without the obvious noise associated with some traditional waterproof mattress covers.
