Memory foam is polyurethane with additional chemicals increasing its viscosity and density. It has an open-cell structure that reacts to body heat and weight by ‘moulding’ to the sleeper’s body, helping to relieve pressure points and preventing pressure sores etc. If the density is higher, the memory foam will generally have better compression ratings; meaning it softens in reaction to body heat, allowing it to mould to a warm body in a few minutes. If the density is lower, then the memory foam will be pressure sensitive and mould quickly to the shape of the body pressing against it, then returning to its original shape once the pressure is removed.

Our memory foam mattress topper is made from visco-elastic which creates a weightless, floatation effect for the sleeper so you’ll think you’re sleeping in a dream land. The full body profile, no matter what sleeping position you are in, is supported properly and maintains the natural alignment of your spine. They are especially recommended if you have decubitus or a back disorder as memory foam has proven effective in the treatment for both of these problems.

Our poly cotton filled mattress topper is of an excellent quality filled with polyester fibres, so they are ideal for those who suffer natural fibre allergies. It makes a great comfort layer with excellent rebound and padding properties and it is encased in a poly cotton waffle cover which is made with a 200 thread count.

The lambs wool filled mattress topper is filled with naturally soft lambs wool that regulates breathability, moisture and temperature control in the bed by removing excess heat and moisture which all helps towards a deep, rejuvenating sleep. It is also cased in a 100% organic cotton cover.

Our hi hair filled mattress topper is made from the highest quality horse tail hairs which won’t break or lose its natural flexibility. The horse tail hair are combined with the lambs wool giving the topper extra spring and recoil, giving long lasting durability as well as warmth and comfort leaving you as snug as a bug in a rug.

Beds with no limits……!

As a bed linen manufacturer we have had some made linen for some odd shaped beds in our time. From contoured beds in boats to beds that are shaped like boats (some with sails!) we have catered for some truely unique bed designs, it seems that where you want to sleep can be as unique as you like and only be limited by your imagination. With that in mind I though we’d post up and celebrate some of the weird and wonderful beds we’ve discovered of late…..

1. The magnetised bed

This Recently popped up in the Arthur remake although in a different guise and although it looks amazing if you want to live like Arthur it will set you back a nice $1.6 Million

2. The Gold Bed.

Yes, some say if you’ve got it flaunt it, while others may say more money than taste, (we’re not saying what side we’re on) this bed is coated in 24 carat Gold and features Swarovski crystals along the sideboard. It’s equipped with a DVD player and Bose sound system, Blu-ray player, Playstation 3, a foldaway plasma television coated in gold and can even be connected to the internet. In short, its got the lot and its a snip (relatively speaking) at only $676,550!

3. The Fairytale Coach.

We’ve kept the last one for the kids with this luxurious coach bed that probably wouldnt have looked out of place at the end of any fairy tale. What isn’t a happy ending though is the price which will set you back a mighty $47,000 for a bed that within a year might possibly have the childs feet sticking out the windows (growth spurts permitting)!!
