Mattress Protectors
Mattress Protectors are an ideal way of protecting and prolonging the life of the mattress whilst also protecting you from any dust mites and bed bugs that might cause illness or breed within the bed.
Victoria linen produce various types of protector from a general purpose to a breathable BSensible barrier against water and dustmites, as detailed below:
1. Our quilted mattress protector is made from quilted polypropylene and is a great quality general mattress protector. The polypropylene is a layeyered material so is slightly spongy with rebound properties. This will protect the mattress from general wear and tear and also small splashes.
2. The waterproof mattress protector is 100% waterproof with a layer of cotton terry towelling on one side, this can give added comfort on the bed, the other side is a non permeable layer that nothing can get through meaning that the mattress is completely protected from any spillages or fluids that may be spilt. The waterproof layer also means the protector is 100% anti allergon so that dust mites and bed bugs will be unable to settle in your mattress, if any do settle they will only be living in the mattress cover, so regular washing of your protector will kill any bed bugs or dust mites.
3. Finally we have a waterproof mattress protector that is also BREATHABLE, made from TENCEL 100% natural fabric this protector will keep out bed bugs and protect your mattress from spillage but it also allows air to pass through. This means that because air pases through your bed will remain a cool and regulated temperature, something that doesnt happen with standard waterproof mattress protectors, and if the air cant move it becomes hotter which can cause discomfort at night. this as you can probably tell is our absolute best quality mattress protector and is also sold by Bsensible.
