400 Count Egyptian Cotton400 Count Egyptian Cotton
Our Egyptian Cotton is pure luxury to the touch. We select only the finest 100% Egyptian Cotton Percale that is again combed to remove knots before weaving begins. We truely believe that using material such as this, we can produce the very finest made to measure linens on the market.
What is Percale?
Our Percale is a high quality poly/cotton made from 50% polyester and 50% cotton.
The cotton is combed before weaving to prevent bobbling and is spun at 180 threads per square inch making it a durable and strong fabric whilst remaining soft to the touch.

Weaving
The weaving process of linen involves a 'warp' laying threads down along the length of the cotton, and a 'weft' that is interwoven between them. The move threads used during the weave the higher the thread count.
What does thread count mean?
A thread count gives you the number of threads per square inch of a finished fabric and is a measure of quality used in the linen industry. The industry standard is usually 150 threads but can go up to 400 and sometimes higher!
